Designed for use in harsh environments requiring extreme performance and reliability, the devices are built with precision machined shells that provide superior EMI shielding and robustness. Mach-D connectors are available with standard density contacts (MCD series), and high density signal contact arrangements (MCDD series) as well as hybrid versions (MCBX series), which combine power and signal in a single connector body. A wide variety of accessories are also available. The superior design and manufacturing process ensures a very high quality and reliability. The MACH-D connectors also benefit from integrated hardware eliminating unintentional disassembly, banding options on the rear shell, shell-to-shell grounding strips, shell- to-backshell grounding strips, IP67 sealing options, rear grommets and 36-position keyed jackscews for mechanical keying between otherwise like connectors. MACH-D devices meet or exceed all M24308 Group B testing requirements.

and in space-grade memories, Infineon is committed to delivering the most reliable, energy efficient memories for next-generation space applications,” said Helmut Puchner, Vice President Fellow of Aerospace and Defense at Infineon Technologies. “The newly introduced rad hard F-RAM devices have superior write capabilities with lower power requirements than alternatives, and support system designs with fewer components, improved performance and no compromise in reliability. We look forward to bringing more industry-firsts to the space market.” The 2 Mb density F-RAM with SPI is the first in its family of rad hard non-volatile F-RAMs. The devices have virtually infinite endurance with no wear leveling, with 10 trillion read/write cycles and 120 years data retention at 85°C, at an operating voltage range of 2.0 V to 3.6 V. The lowest operating current is 10 mA maximum, with an extreme low programming voltage of 2 V. The rad hard F-RAMs are also suitable for avionic and other applications that require military standard temperature grades reaching from -55°C to 125°C. Additional features include a small footprint with 16- pin ceramic SOP packaging. The DLAM QML-V qualified devices have superior radiation performance of: TID: >150 Krad (Si) SEL: >114 MeV·cm 2/mg @115°C SEU: Immune SEFI: <1.34 * 10-4 err/dev.day Availability The 2 Mb rad hard, non-volatile serial interface F-RAMs are available now. Flex Power Modules adds new variants to popular BMR491 quarter-brick DC/DC range High peak power variant up to 2450 W Lower profile variant for height restricted applications New variants include ‘Hybrid Regulated Ratio’ regulation Flex Power Modules has expanded its BMR491 range of digital, quarter-brick DC/DC converters with 2 new variants. Power ratings now available are 1400 W continuous / 2400 W peak (BMR4912307/856), and 1540 W continuous / 2450 W peak (BMR4913208/857). The new variants all feature the Flex Power Modules’ ‘Hybrid Regulated Ratio (HRR)’ technique where output voltages vary in a ratio to the input voltage but not with load current, optimizing efficiency and EMI filtering.
