revolutionary reflectionless filters in bare die form from stock, allowing customers to integrate the filters directly into their hybrids with minimal space requirements. Mini-Circuits’ XLF-63-D+ is a reflectionless high pass filter with a passband from DC to 6000 MHz and stopband from 9600 to 17800MHz. The filter provides 1.3 dB passband insertion loss, 1.3:1 passband VSWR, 15dB stopband rejection, and 1.5:1 stopband VSWR. It can handle RF input power up to 2W in the passband and 150mW in the stopband. Fabricated using IPD process technology on GaAs, the filter comes housed in a tiny 3x3mm QFN package. Mini-Circuits’ X-series of reflectionless filters employs a novel filter topology which absorbs and terminates stopband signals internally rather than reflecting them back to the source. This new capability enables unique applications for filter circuits beyond those suited to traditional approaches. Reflectionless filters eliminate stopband signal reflections, allowing them to be paired with sensitive devices such as mixers and multipliers without the need for extra components like attenuators, significantly improving system performance and saving board space.
