Mini-Circuits’ Reflectionless High Pass Filter Passes 2900 to 8700MHz with High Stopband Rejection Mini-Circuits’ revolutionary X-series reflectionless filters now include two and three section designs, giving you ultra-high stopband rejection for applications where suppression of strong spurious signals and intermods is needed. New model XHF-292M+ has a passband from 2900 to 8700MHz and stopband from DC to 1950MHz. The filter provides 0.7dB passband insertion loss, 1.2:1 passband VSWR up to 7100MHz, and stopband rejection of 36dB. Stopband VSWR of 1.2:1 results in minimal stopband signal reflections. It also provides excellent power handling of up to +32dBm in the passband and +35dBm in the stopband. Fabricated using IPD process technology on GaAs, the filter comes housed in a tiny 4x4mm QFN package. Mini-Circuits’ X-series of reflectionless filters employs a novel filter topology which absorbs and terminates stopband signals internally rather than reflecting them back to the source. This new capability enables unique applications for filter circuits beyond those suited to traditional approaches. Reflectionless filters eliminate stopband signal reflections, allowing them to be paired with sensitive devices such as mixers and multipliers without the need for extra components like attenuators, significantly improving system performance and saving board space.
